Murray first auditioned
and joined ComedySportz - Austin on Labor Day 1988 and has been hooked ever since
on improv. His love of performing and providing sound/music for teams on-stage
is equaled only by the love he feels for his cat, Tony. When he left Austin in
1990 and moved to Houston, little did he know that the CSz-Houston team would
recruit him (or was it the other way around??) to be a part of their first ever
performance.
After three years in Houston, he moved back to Central Texas to start the ComedySportz-San
Antonio team along with CSz-Austin Owner Les McGehee and Manager Tyler Bryce.
Although now considered to be the "old man" in Austin, Murray knows
that continuing to be a part of CSz will keep him looking as young and handsome
as that first audition day he labored in 1988 for a spot on the Austin team.
