Don Johnson, a native of Niagara Falls, New York, came to Austin via McAllen, Texas. He previously did musical sign language, drama, and mime in a deaf ministry touring group that traveled coast to coast. While in McAllen, he was active in community theater, comedy being his favorite, and since living in Austin, has done several sign language plays. Don has been a fan of Austin's National Comedy Theatre and its members for the past three and a half years, and a student of their improvisation classes. He joined the troupe in July 2000.
