As I thumbed through my high school yearbook I discovered some of the reasons why I am in Comedy Sportz.Sayings like “stay goofy,” “you are so funny and hyper,” and “you always make me laugh,” started it off and of course, cheerleading helped me because that’s where I first learned to get in front of people and make a complete idiot out of myself. I still get made fun of; now it is for my musical tastes of light rap and country, but I’m California born and Texas raised, what’s a girl to do? Last year my life took a dramatic turn causing me to search for answers… God graciously stepped in and directed me to the comedy workshops at Zachary Scott Theatre. I have been laughing ever since. My professional dreams have always been to be an actress but I didn’t think I could do improvisation until I looked down at my adorable, perfect, charismatic four year old little boy and realized that if I could creatively answer one million “why?” questions a day then I could do improv ! So, I started on my comedic journey and boy, what a fun ride so far…
